My name is Melisa Sanchez and I know Aldean from being my rep for Petersen-Arne.  I have a small embellishment company called Mermaid Tears.  I also have been on the Design Team for a Better Homes & Gardens/Scrapbook Etc internet show.  It has been very fun and keeps me busy in a creative way.

Hi Aldean,
I am a  brand new scrapper and just wanted to say that I love the pages you have posted!
It was especially helpful to me to see the pages on children as I am about to start an album for my 2 yr. old son..  
Do you have any advice on themes for pages for a baby book,or ideas for pics to take now for his next book, which I hope to do if all goes well with the first project !!

What I like to do is "start at the beginning". I am getting ready to do my second baby book for hire. I start with before the baby arrives and end with first birthday. Include layouts with family, first home, all the firsts, favorites etc. Bet if you got our your baby book you would find lots of ideas. I am working on my grandson's album at the moment. I started with his birth and am working my way forward. He is also two. You also don't have to use all the pictures. Just choose the best. Try not to over do it with too many embellishments as it can be overwhelming.

Thanks for the advice, I will try and choose the best pics, my problem is, that I am biased, I can't choose which are the "best."  I think keeping it to the first year will help a lot.  My new "scrapping friend" may  be the best one to ask, as the hardest part is choosing the themes & pics...
