I cannot believe it is Friday and I have not even begun to get finished what I needed to do. Not enough hours in a day.  My husband always throws me curve balls.  This week ( not a norm for him ) he never left the house until 7:30 or 8:00 am. for about 3 days this week to go to work. What is that all about? He came home at 4:00 in the afternoon 3 out of the 5 days this week.  What is that all about?  Since we have no pets, no children at home, guess who's left. I was so EXCITED that I get to see him more than 2 hours each night.  I cannot believe how much that affects my overall well being to see my husband more these past few days that I did in two weeks. It usually is an evening of an exhausted husband flopping down on the sofa, inhaling his dinner, which has been held on the stove for an hour or so, to the TV remote going surfing from channel to channel trying to catch up on his Sports, Movies, running upstairs to get his Emails, to opening his mail, to giving me 1/8 of an ear to my conversations by nodding his head as he falls asleep and it is only 9:30pm. You say that is not bad. (Well he just got home at 8:15pm and falls asleep within an 1 hour and 1/2 after getting home) I think this whole week he has came home early I feel LIKE A NEW WOMAN.  I think he actually heard ME SPEAK to him about MY DAY. We at dinner at 7:30 instead of 9:30 pm. Today is Friday and he went in again at 8:00 am again. I don't want to get to used to this life, I might like it. As I read through this I am beginning to think What is wrong with this picture?  The quality of life. I am not complaining I just have noticed a HUGE change in myself as a result of this. I have been a much happier person this week. Some of you have expressed your husband works like mine.  How do you cope and do it?  Being an empty nester I do not have the kids to take up my time. (Oh he noticed I bought some new crop pants too). WHOHOOO..gotta run..
