How Do You Doodle?
Have you ever wondered what a psychoanalyst would think of the scribbles and sketches in the margins of all those school notebooks? Most of us, preferring to remain blissfully ignorant of the underlying psyche, agree that these sometimes elaborate motifs did wonders to juice up algebra equations! The same holds true for your scrapbook pages, as these daydream expressions are the latest in layout enhancement. To build a little confidence before drawing on your pages freehand, doodle templates and stamps are available in paper crafting stores to guide you along.
 Materials
Prism Papers cardstock in light blue and white
Sassafras Lass patterned paper in Delight
5-1/2" x 8" black and white photo with a narrow white border
Gel-A-Tins stamps – Oodles of Doodles
Tsukineko ink pad in Black
Sakura pen in Black
Prismacolor colored pencils in coordinating colors of choice
FoofaLa buttons in assorted colors and sizes, eleven
Lä Dé Dä glitter in gold and silver
Fiskars decorative-edge scissors – Scallop
White glue
Scissors, ruler, pencil

Instructions
1. Double mat the photo first onto light blue cardstock with a 3⁄16" border using the scallop scissors and then onto the Delight paper with a 3/4" border and straight scissors. Adhere the matted photo onto the sheet of white cardstock 5/8" in from the right side and 1" up from the bottom edge.
2. Using the project photo as a guide, adhere the assorted buttons onto both the top left and bottom right corners of the matted photo, then fill in the petals on some of the flowers on the Delight paper mat with gold and silver glitter.
3. With the project photo as a guide, use the Oodles of Doodles stamps and black ink to apply the images onto the page, then use the black pen to hand draw even more doodles onto the blank areas around the stamps. Use the colored pencils to highlight and color in the stamped and penned images, referring to project photo for color suggestions. Fill in parts of the colored background shapes with gold and silver glitter as desired
